LAST DESTASH SALE HAUL OF THE YEAR

Today was bittersweet...it was the last destash sale of the year and I won't see another sale till next year. While I found some sweet deals on some new stash,  I also missed out on the deal of the day - so sad!  Hubby had found some paper for me @ one table and urged me to come take a look.  Well on the way I spotted a box full of SU stamps and was about to reach for it when another savy shopper had better reflexes and it slipped away from my hands and eyes for good.  : (  Oh well, maybe next time.  Hubby will be advised trained that if he sees sets of SU stamps for an unbelievable price, he needs to ask the seller to hold them for his wife to come & take a look @ LOL.  I shouldn't complain because I still found some great deals.  Here's what I got.  The odd item I didn't post because it's on its way to someone for a surprise.  ; )  I don't plan to keep everything.  Much is destined to be prizes for challenges here & PCP (paper craft planet).

DESTASH HAUL

Well... yesterday was a BIG day...

it was one of the biggest destash garage sales of the year. 

The stars must have been in alignment because hubby actualy had the day off too.  LOL  That meant he could come with me and help me find some treasures.  He's a very good scout for me and knows my style and likes pretty well.  Never fails he always seems to find something for himself too - BONUS!  : ) 

WOO HOO!

That's ME doin' the happy dance!

Hubby and I got an early start & left without breakie even just to be there as it was starting @ 10:30 am.  The tables were already buzzing with 'early bird' shoppers scoring deals.  Hubby and I had our duplicate lists in hand and parted to scour the tables and see what we could find. 

Not too shabby... 

Hubby found a couple of items for himself as looked for things for me too. 

I tried to be a 'good girl' and stick to a budget or @ least within reason of our budget.  LOL 

I think my hubby was impressed that my large tote only had 3 little things in it by the time we met @ the half way point of the tables to show each other what we had found so far.  I found... one  House Mouse stamp and a couple of  SU sentiment stamps by then.  Hubby found an air vac for the computer for $1. so he can clear out any crumbs he might be accused of.   LOL 

In the end I found...

papers that were on my list.  I didn't pay the $8. on the pad.  I did pay $8. for the pad plus two sets of TIM HOLTZ metal feet for the corners of altered boxes.  I was just looking @ a pack of four the day before in a shop for 6.99.  So the $8 for two sets of feet ( 8 feet in total enough to do two altered boxes ) and the paper was definately a  SCORE!  : )

I had to buy the HOUSE MOUSE stamp LOL  $3. and the damask allover large stamp measures about 6" so will be very useful for cards journaling pages & so much more... Love it!

I really like HIEDE SWAPP clear stamps.  Now I'm kicking myself for not buying more - even ones I have already just to pass them on to a friend or use in a prize package.  Most of what I buy is brand new still in the package and never used.  : )

CHRISTMAS MAKE & TAKES

Here are the rest of the MAKE & TAKES I made recently

@ a local scrapbook shops

 Christmas Open House.

This first pic is the ornament made with a snowflake style circle spellbinder die, rosette, glitter circle that can be punched or cut with a circle cutter or on your cricut.  The metal snowflake embellishments adds more sparkle with rhinestones on the tips.  We used a silver glitter wire for the hanger to finish.

The following pic is a card we made.  We added color with copics.  The sentiment pops off the background using 3D adhesive squares.  The finishing touch was using a glitter pen to add some sparkle to the card.

The last pic shows a CUTE little gift card holder.  A die & embossing folder set were used to make the card holder.  All the pieces were already cut embossed & ready to assemble, so I don't know the name of the set.  We added the ribbon & bell to finish.  Gift card was not included!  : (  LOL 

I put one in the pic to show how you put it in the holder.  : )
